We all have heard of PTA (Parent Teacher Association) when it comes to school. With parents being more into school it would cut back on ALOT OF THINGS that are happening in the schools. Such as drug deals, sex crimes, child obesity, weapons on campus and even killing on school grounds.Parents play such a big part when it comes to being active in school. parents could help come up with social events such as prom, small school dances, fund raisers etc. With all the illegal things that are going on with school parents have their right to voice their option just as much as the students do. parents could even pick a healthier food choice menu when it comes to school food to cut back on child obesity. With drug deals and sex crimes the parents should enforce principals and school officers to make sure that they are doing their job to fullest. Weapons being brought on campus shouldn't even be a topic but it is, so many kids & children are exposed to so many things now a days. Parents need to make sure their kids are exposed to so many things at certain ages and should be exposed to them later on in life. Teachers, Students and Parents can do so many things for the school system. Their voice is important because it's their education and their childs education & im sure every parent wants the best for the kid. With one step at time The school systems can see a big change coming soon.
